These terms apply when you use movos.ca. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who we are
movos.ca is run by MOVOS Inc., a company based in Toronto, Ontario. In these terms, “MOVOS”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company.
What these terms cover
These terms cover the website only. They aren’t a contract to advertise with MOVOS, carry a MOVOS unit or become a fleet partner. If you do any of those, a separate agreement will cover it. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement applies.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information you send us.
Using the site
You may use movos.ca to learn about MOVOS, plan a campaign, check creative and contact us. When you use it, you agree not to:
- break any law, or help someone else break one;
- send false information, or pretend to be someone else;
- send someone else’s personal information without their permission;
- try to get into parts of the site or our systems that aren’t public, or probe them for weaknesses;
- get around our spam checks or submission limits, or send automated or bulk submissions;
- copy the site’s content in bulk by automated means, apart from search engines indexing pages for search results;
- interfere with the site, including by sending malicious code or overloading it;
- use the site or our contact details to send spam.
We may block access to the site, or disregard submissions, if we believe someone has broken these terms.
Our content and marks
The content on movos.ca, including its text, design, illustrations, maps, demo creative and code, belongs to MOVOS or is used under licence.
The MOVOS name, wordmark and pixel mark are marks of MOVOS.
You may view the site, share links to it, and print or save pages for your own use, such as sharing a campaign plan inside your organization. Otherwise, you may not copy, change, republish or sell our content, or use our name or marks in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.
Some content belongs to others:
- The map is built from OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License.
- The typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License.
Brand names in our demo creative are fictional. Any resemblance to a real business is unintended.
Estimates and demo data
Some numbers on movos.ca carry a label so you know what they are.
- Estimate or Illustrative: a modelled figure or range, based on stated assumptions. Campaign planner results are illustrative estimates.
- Demo data: made-up figures that show how a feature works. They don’t describe a real campaign.
Estimates and demo data aren’t promises. Real plays and results depend on things such as how many units are active, and where and when riders travel. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell advertising at a set price or on set terms. A campaign is confirmed only by a separate agreement with MOVOS.
Product specifications describe the current design and may change.
Tools on the site
The creative previewer runs in your browser, and files you add to it aren’t uploaded to us. Previews are an approximation. They don’t guarantee how creative will look on a real panel.
A campaign plan’s settings are saved in its web address. Anyone you share the link with can see the plan.
Links to other sites
The site may link to websites we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for their content or for how they handle your information.
No warranties
We work to keep movos.ca accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises or warranties about the site, including that it will be accurate, complete, current, secure, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, MOVOS isn’t responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using movos.ca, or from relying on its content, tools or estimates. That includes indirect loss, such as lost profits, revenue or data.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability, or takes away a right, that the law doesn’t allow us to limit or take away, including your rights under consumer protection law.
Governing law
The laws of Ontario, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, govern these terms and your use of the site. The courts of Ontario, sitting in Toronto, will decide any dispute about them, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your own courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date on this page shows when they last changed. Changes apply from the time we post them, so if you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply to you.
If any part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
